Fragments and reconstructions - part towards a whole

Fragments and reconstructions and a bent towards play are core to a collage practice. While the work in this project may be considered as collage (lamination of some of the layers), drawing and the weighing of formal values against each other give structure and potential meaning to a few random ideas and materials rarely seen out of the studio.

It is this playing with ideas of formal and visual thinking that these 'drawings' allow. It is integral to the working space of the studio and to how practise is kept fluid. Intimacy of scale and portability, allow for other kinds of relationship to evolve towards a potential for more major works and installations.
